So is Jaime still with Marta? Because i’ve noticed a few photos of him recently with this English (?) brunette girl, who I think is called Lauren. So are they together or are people just assuming?

I will be the first to admit I was outraged at Toro Rosso’s decision, nobody wants to see their favourite axed for basically no reason at all. I’m not really sure why i’m suprised at this because this is what Toro Rosso has always done since their debut in 2006.
I think it was expected that Buemi would leave, which is also sad as he has good potential, but Alguersuari was so unexpected. Considering how awful the car has been, his season has been quite good. The beginning wasn’t great but 26 points in a STR isn’t bad at all.
I think the reason as to why i’m so annoyed about this situation is because the decision was announced so late on. All of the decent seats are long gone and i’m sure most teams were confident that Jaime already had a drive in 2012 much like most of his fans. There are 4 seats remaining, 1 at Hispania Racing and 1 at Williams, there’s also 2 at Force India but I think everyone knows who will get those. So where does this leave Jaime and Seb? They’re going to have to go crawling to a backmarker? If they wanted to change seats, fair enough, teams change, drivers move up, people move on. But the way in which they’ve handled the situation is incredibly unfair and unjust. From the interviews which I have read, both drivers, especially Alguersuari hinted strongly that they had a seat with Toro Rosso in 2012, this decision has obviously come as a suprise to them too.
I hope to see both boys in F1 next year, even if it is at HRT, Williams etc. They’re good drivers and good people and frankly they deserve better.
You’re incredible. An amazing drive by both Toro Rosso boys kept their heads down and got on with a fantastic race. So proud of you.
