I just don’t understand how Chris Brown is still allowed to make music. If he lived in the real, non-celebrity world, and he beat up his girlfriend, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 5 years probation and 6 months (6 MONTHS IS THAT FOR REAL? America, your legal system is a JOKE sometimes) community service they would really really struggle to get a job and be accepted back into society but because he’s Chris Brown everything seems to be swept under the rug and forgotten about and they’re just handing him Grammy’s and letting him to continue to make (actually appalling) music. And now Rihanna’s working with him? I just cannot get my head around that. I don’t know what I’m more disgusted by. The fact that the world seems to have forgotten that he BEAT UP HIS GIRLFRIEND, or that said ex girlfriend is now working with him. Frankly, I’m appalled by the whole situation. It is belittling domestic abuse to literally nothing. There seems to have been very little repercussions for his actions and now they are giving out a message that it is ok to beat your girlfriend because she’ll come back to you in three years time and all will be forgotten. The whole situation is disgusting.
